I. OUT OF CHARACTER DETAILS —
my name is lyns, i'm twenty-nine years old, and i'm in the central standard timezone. i've been roleplaying on and off for an embarrassingly long amount of time, in various places but on tumblr specifically for six years. other places you can find me on tumblr are here.II. TRIGGERS —
baldur's gate 3 contain many triggering topics, so triggering content will appear on this blog. subjects such as death, violence, slavery, assault, & more might come up in passing. any triggering content will be tagged as #tw trigger. if you have specific triggers you'd like me to add to my tags, please don't hesitate to reach out.III. CHARACTERIZATION —
with the fact that the player character's dialogue and choices follow similar structure, even with the variety of choices, it's understandable for various pc's to have some overlap. however, if i begin to notice another player character acting/reacting a bit too similar to celeste on my dash, it will result in a block from me. i can't tell anyone how to write or play the game, but for my own comfort, i won't associate with pcs that are too similar to my own.

III. SHIPPING & NSFW —
i don't do much shipping without thorough ooc contact and established dynamics. likewise, i do not write smut, so the nsfw content on this blog is minimal at best, but if it ever occurs, it will be tagged #nsfw. i do not assume that my romance option in game translates to roleplay and i would appreciate others offering me the same consideration.IV. ROLEPLAY ETIQUETTE —
i tend to abide by pretty standard forms of etiquette in my roleplay; no godmodding, no anon hate, no racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. i have a personally preference to reblog from sources rather than straight from the dash, but i don't care much whether others do it. as long as it doesn't seem like i'm being used for resources rather than roleplaying.V. EARLY LIFE —
shiloh was a child of skonnos, daughter of the elite of the skonnan empire. she had very little awareness of the methods of rule that her family partook in, only aware that they were safe and protected within their home planet due to her parents' ironfisted rule. it was when she was nine years old that she realized that protection only extended so far...despite their efforts, the skonnan were defeated and their empire crumbled, leaving the majority of their people dead. those that remained were scattered across the galaxy, including shiloh. the child found herself thrust onto a cargo ship, launched at the last moments before her planet was made uninhabitable.that cargo ship carried shiloh to a predetermined destination; a junk planet in the outer reaches of a nearby galaxy. there, she was taken in by a band of rogue thieves, who had no idea the ways she was about to change their lives.

ADULTHOOD —
by her twentieth year, shiloh had become a thief and rogue in her own right. her early training in martial combat bled into various other trainings as she grew, and she quickly found a place on a ship that allowed her to work her way up to captain of her own ship.by her seventieth year, she had commandeered over one hundred ships and worked her way through several crews within her own; some were lost to battle, some with age. however, shiloh also learned that she did not age the way her people had become accustomed to.it would take another thirty years to find the right geneticist to examine her dna, under much promise of secrecy, and duress should that secrecy be broken. experimentation uncovered a mutation in her dna; the combination of other genetic markers and traits from races outside her own. like breeding a new flower, shiloh had been spliced, creating a new kind of skonnan... the last skonnan, who might live a thousand years.

DOCTOR WHO —
this verse will encompass shiloh's vendetta against the doctor, who she sees as the cause of her suffering and the loss of her world. much of this verse has been plotted and heavily involves @ob4yme's portrayal(s) of the master.
